In keeping with American Camping Association guidelines and Young Judaea policy, our staff is not allowed to accept gratuities. Tipping specific cabin counselors is unfair to other members of the camp staff who also work hard (kitchen staff, lifeguards, office staff, etc.) but do not have the same exposure to campers as the counselors. If you would like to honor a staff member, we welcome contributions to the Staff Fund. The Staff Fund is used to purchase items for the Staff Lounge or to provide social and educational outlets for all the staff of CYJ Sprout Lake.

During the summer there is an opportunity to show appreciation for the staff at Sprout Lake! You can sponsor a Sprout Lake Staff Tradition night, special treats, or "Kef" events. Please email us if you'd like to donate to the Staff Fund!
