CYJ Sprout Lake operates a fully equipped infirmary with New York State Registered nurses in residence and a doctor on site at all times. In the event that your camper needs to see a specialist, we will make arrangements with local doctors.

To facilitate payment for these services, campers’ forms require insurance information. A copy of both sides of your current insurance card must be on file in the Health Center, and therefore you must complete the Parent Authorization Form in your Forms and Documents in CampInTouch. Please be aware that you are fully responsible for the cost of any such necessary care, as well as the cost of any necessary treatments or medications. It is your responsibility to submit insurance claims to your carrier.

Every camper must have medical insurance and prescription coverage. CYJ Sprout Lake cannot be responsible for any medical expenses incurred during the camping season. Most medical practices in the area require us to pay them directly. Therefore, we depend upon you to reimburse the camp as quickly as possible! Camp must have a copy your camper’s medical insurance card and prescription coverage card, or your camper will not be able to obtain a bunk number on the first day of camp.
